With less than a minute left BUF gets a completed pass and then spike the ball. On the pass there is a booth review after the spike which rules that PIT did not in fact recover a fumble, so they give the ball back to BUF but before the spike, so they got first down instead of second and 3 seconds added to the clock.

But I guess the dropped BUF TD in OT is the universe evening out.
