trap hockey exists because the league is watered down with inferior 3rd and 4th line talent. The NHL needs to force teams to groom 95% of their draft picks in the AHL for at least 1 season. The AHL is a great development league and the NHL needs to work with the teams and help change the way in which team's draft picks are developed. Too many teams rush their young talent only to find them become huge busts.

Santoro, I understand fully that you're saying in this thread about team totals. I am just not going away from what has been working, as I said 75-80% over the last 4-5 weeks, the numbers don't lie. Whether this is all luck of there's something to it, it works. Will start posting all my over/under plays in this thread from now on..

According to my quick review, "unders" have hit more often 10 days in a row and they're 49-18-3 in this span.

Having tracked the Grand Salami for a couple of years, I can never remember the day's total going on a run of more than six days, so this, I believe, very much is out of the ordinary.

Heard a statistic the other night than scoring in the shootout was 30% or something last year and this year it's at 13%. Something like that.

Penalty killing units and goaltenders numbers are up significantly from last year. Let's all take advantage, but cause if this keeps up we'll see 5's and 4.5's even on an every day basis.

I don't know, but I think Atlanta-Colorado is the best choice to go "over."
