#2been a member since december 1998. still sell on there occasionally but between their fees and paypals fees they can eat a dick. its outrageous what they charge. but its still one of the best ways to sell nationally.
as for what i sell, mainly electronics, computers i buy broke and repair, pretty much anything i find that i can't sell CL (for instance i have an empty nintendo wii box listed now. won't go for much, but it'll sell)
as for what i've sold in the past, hell everything from a car to a rare baritone to gas powered rc cars!Comment -

#4Anything that I see as a deal on woot. Turned small priced DVD player that I got 3 of them on woot for 39 a piece and sold them on ebay for 97 - 108 - 94
But I sell alot of video games that I buy and then hate after playing for 2 weeks on there. Thats only if CL tries lowballing me. Had a clown on CL try to pay me 20 bucks for a game listed at 40. I said I could sell it on Ebay for 45 but then I have to deal with paypal which I'd rather not. This guy then tells me fine sell it on ebay. I said no problem I will. He emails me back 30 minutes later saying he would buy it for 30 but I'd have to drive it to him, I laughed and said Fuckk off, then sold it on ebay for 47.Comment -

#7Ive been on ebay for almost 10 years and selling for over 5 years. Ill sell anything I can get a profit on. The items I sell most tho are toy figures/collectibles, books/audiotapes and electronics. Half the items I never even see, I just play middle man between websites like Amazon where I am member and get better prices.
It is amazing how many items you find on ebay that are broken but can be repaired/cleaned and resold.Comment -

Ebay and Paypal fees sucks big time but they deserve to get paid.

#11I sold VHS movies on there until about 3 months ago. The profits weren't as good, and it justr wasn't worth the time and effort anymore. You'd be amazed how many of those movies I was selling even though VCR's are hard to find now.Comment -

#13I used to sell alot on ebay but paypal started holding funds (even though Ive been with them since 2001 with a100% feedback) until you give your item away first
Ive never known someone selling a item...giving their item away first without gettin paid for it
couple that with the fees its a joke...ebay caters to the high volume sellers that sell junk imitations
craigslist is the new ebay...no fees...straight cash transactions...you give the item...you get cashComment -

#16because they bill monthly. i agree for the random seller there should be an option for "one time bill" or "monthly bill" for the regular user.Comment -

#31You should read the ebay forums , ppl complain about it daily about them and pp. How ebay pretty much cornered the market after banning checks and money order and any other sort of electronic payment. They allow one other option but its more expensive than paypal. Screw them
I miss the ebay of 2002Comment -

#32I use to sell old silver coins and currency but it took up so much time and the fees started eating up slim profits. I liked it a lot better when people could send a check rather than paypal and getting hit with more fees.Comment -

#35My girlfriend makes a surprising amount of money selling Harley-Davidson, Disney, OCC choppers and anything sports. She went to Goodwill bought a Alice in Wland figure for $.88 cents and sold it for $11 recently. She sold a $2.88 Derek jeter christmas ornament for $10 or so a couple of days ago.
She buys books for a quarter each from yard sales and sells lots of 10 books for $6, shit like that.Comment
