What's everyone planning to run out and buy on Black Friday?

Deals can be had any day that are just as good as Black Friday. You just have to search every day.

I think people just get overwhelmed with the "idea" of black friday. They want you to think everything is at the cheapest prices, and you get into the store, and end up buying random shit you don't need...Good marketing on their part.

The only thing I'm planning on picking up is 4 bucks for 20 AA batteries, so I can get my vibrator going for cheap.

I'm planning a trip to the feed store for some corn and a couple of bales of hay, might head into town to the Home Depot to grab a few strands of mini lights to string on the decks. That's about it.

Had a pre Thsnsgiving sale at Brandsmart on Sunday. Got our 50" Panasonic plasma. Prices have droppped way down. No lines or fighting the crowd and get to watch Turkey Day football on it.

never seen a 40" lcd go for under $300 before. plus i can get additional $70 off on it to make it $228.

I bought a Panasonic Plasma last year and they are perfect for watching sports. If you are into watching movies on HD DVD though it's better to get an LCD. I only watch sports on TV and it's the perfect TV for me.

you will rarely find sales online that even come close to the "door buster" deals. But who wants camp out for 5-6 hours when the store is only carrying around 5 of any item. For example, best buy has a great door buster on a laptop but there is only 3 per store.

Whats funny is walmart had a black november deal at the beginning of the month for a 19'' vizio class Razor LED(only way to go now for lcd) LCD TV for 198(on sale). The same tv weeks later, is now 178 retail - not the sale price and its not even 1080p. The number of people who do not realize they can price match at least 30 days never go and get their money back. Stores have been unloading tvs for the past month at decent prices but anyone who waited for this week is definitely going to get a better deal.
