Who Wins, Texas A&M vs. Texas?

I would like you opinions on this game. I feel like Texas has had an awful game but they will come out and compete here in this big Rivalry game. Texas has won 8 of the last 10 in this matchup and did beat Nebraska pretty good at home this year. I know A&M is riding high but really think that the +140 money line is hard to pass up.


What are your thoughts???

tough to call. who knows what's going on with Texas beating Neb and getting thumped by teams like UCLA and Baylor. A&M has been awesome since switching QB's.

I'm with Texas on this. Think of the embarassment if they lose and can't even qualify for a bowl game after playing for the BCS championship last year. Pride has to factor in here somewhere with college kids.

Just can't get over the A&M of the last two years. Hard to think Texas isn't what they once were....even though it is indeed the truth.

All I'll say is you can bet the team because of their name (Texas) or you can analyze both teams, and realize who the better of the two is (A&M). I know its a rivalry game, but Texas is way outmatched talent wise.

Yeah on paper it looks like A&M is the far superior team. However on paper it looked like Texas couldn't handle Nebraska either, and they did.

a&m has won 2 out of the last 4 years, they were big dogs in all 4 games
they almost beat them last year when texas was actually good

Texas doesn't necessarily need to win to go to a bowl. If there are any open slots I'm sure they will get a bid to go to one. AtM at -3 was a steal and now with at -3.5 I still like my odds. I bet on the better team, not on who will show up or not. Therefore I will be backing AtM because they are a much better team than this Texas one this year.

naw texas could still get a bowl bid at 5-7 because there are so many bowls and a bowl will take texas because they will travel

I agree, but that was still early in the season when Texas had a chance to turn their season around. I'm just saying I would rather play the better team and hope they don't have a bad game, opposed to playing Texas and hoping they pull another miracle out of their ass. I just think Texas has already packed their bags on this season, and A&M isn't getting the respect they deserve in this one.
