ATTN: Old Cake Poker Players & SBR
I just signed in randomly to my cake poker account. I finally saw they have an exchange set up where you can buy and sell your gold cards. I was able to cash out over $200 by selling all mine

I am sure most of the people that play at cake poker know this, but for those of you like me who stopped playing there can cash them out and earn a few extra bucks.

SBR should look into something like this for their point program.

Was that similar to the program that sportsbook.com had where you could earn gold cards and trade them for hand of the day bonus's?

yes, exact same thing.. you can now trade them in for extra cash.. sportsbook.com isnt apart of the cake network anymore though, so i think you might be out of luck if you had a substantial amount of cards there.

I think I am as well. I downloaded the poker program and can't find anything anywhere about the cards. I have probably 30 or more of them.

yea, probably out of luck.. the good news is if you only had 30 they were probably all low cards like 2's and 3's and those are only going for around 3 or 4 cents each.

Log in. go to cashier. go to rewards. click on gold cards.. on the right side click on exchange

or just log in and one of the tabs on the left side of the screen says exchange, click that.

thats how it is on cake poker. i assume they are all set up the same, but dont know for sure

its set up just like matchbook.

i just took the best price people were offering to buy. i left alot of money on the table by doing that, but i didnt want to try to get the best possible offer over a month of time.

for instance, the 7s is todays card so there is alot of action on that. i had 8 7s that i got rid of at a pretty good price. its best to wait for the card you to be a special card to turn in for a tourney, but like i said i wasnt going to do that. plus, i had hundreds of 2's...those only going for 3cents, or you could offer it for 4 cents..not really a big deal.

its best i put that money on a 4teamer instead of letting my gold cards collect dust trying to get best value for an extra $50
