#77OK boys, you MUST be very honest here. NO LYING.. we will now see who the real gamblers are.... and who is not really a gambler..
You are given (1) dice.... You roll it one time ONLY.
IF you roll a 2,3,4,5, or 6... You get $10 MILLION.
IF you roll a 1... You die with a bullet to your head...
So basically, you have an 83% chance of living a great life....
And you have a 17% chance of dying immediately..
Do you roll that dice?
My answer is NO.. When the time comes to roll that dice, my knees would buckle...I'd be sweating profusely...i guess i am not a real gambler.. Are you a real gambler?? would you take a shot at this? be honest. if you say YES, you are a real gambler..Comment -

#80If it was a legitimate payout and the dice weren't loaded, yes.
But on earth, today??? No, nobody would have the dough and the will to kill.
Some megabanks have the dough, but wouldn't shoot you...well actually some multinational corp. Might have both, but wouldn't sponsor such an event, cuz it would hurt their image.blog '09-'10: 37-16: +$31,900
mlb 2010; 16-12: +$4,540
gellyhoops 2010: 10-6 +$3,150
overall: 63-34 +$40,290Comment -

#81In a regular lottery, you have like a .00001% chance to win $10M.
With this "lottery", you have 83% chance to win $10M.
Only instead of betting $1, you're betting your life.
So for some people here, this may be a +EV gamble....Comment -

#87well, after the YES started 7-2.. people seemed to wake up and realize it's not worth it. The final tally was 30-14 for the NO.. talk about a big turnaround. The NO finished on a 28-7 run...
i still think that of the 14 that said YES,, that once you see the guy loading that gun to prepare it, then put in that big bullet, you will sweat, you will shake and then you'll think twice and say............... "forget it, i changed my mind. i don't want to do it". it's easy to say YES now, but when the time comes, then its a diff story.
of the 14 that said YES, the only one i think that come the time would do it, is NOBBER.. he's the only one that convinced me.
so to me, i think the final tally is 43 NO's and 1 YES.., not 30-14..
you kids are all big talkers..
Why ask a question when you will only accept the answer that you want ?Comment -
