I'm from Pennsylvania and there are a lot of local bookies who have actually websites where you can bet. For example if your not familiar here is the scoop, you find a bookie (also referred to as an agent) and they give you a website to place your bets and an account number and password. You don't deposit any money they give you a bankroll and you go from there with your wagering. And then every friday or whatever limit you set with your agent you just meet up with them personally. Its a lot more convenient for bookies because they don't have to answer phone calls and the players don't worry about getting made up lines. Anywho they are very popular where I am from, just about everybody that is a bookie has them and they are all different names. I was just wondering if other people have this in there area?
Does anyone use a local book who has a website?

#3Yup, I have a few locals here in CR setup the same way. Course, I can always just walk into several different casinos and just hand over the cash and make my bet.Comment -

#5I know of a lot and I have 3 myself. Its ok sometimes the lines r fkked up, but about the part where they don't give you bogus lines it's untrue because the agent can call in and arrange a certain line at whatever price they want for each individual depending on the action they get from that person.Comment -

Just be careful that he is not connected with the former 70's mayor son
Not that the group that is connected with would ever stiff but they seem to get caught a lot
Just remember back to (Name Omitted) in Abington who burried all the money in PVC pipes in the back yard
Feds showed up with back hoesComment -

it's not a % of losses it's a set fee per player, no mater if the player
wins or losses.
I would say about 90% of all offices work in this manner.Comment -

#21One is rev. share (affiliate/agent) and the other is service fee (PPH/agent)... to find a local go to a damn bar and get pissed and yell a little when a team wins... they will come to you. By the way, I don't mean a freaking TGIF bar, you need a good old fashioned blue collar or union bar. If you don't fit in they will kick your *ss, cop or no cop.Comment -

Sorry, but a good local is still the best unless your a scalper. People are businesses and businesses are people, there are locals that do a lot of volume and are very credible.Comment
