His thinking was there up by 10 points (2 score game). If he kicks FG they're up 13 (STILL two score game). So he tried to put the nail in the coffin and make it a 3 score game and it worked. I don't really agree with the play call, I would've run it, but I like the decision to go for it. And it they didnt get it, then they're still up 10, they're at home, only 5min left in game, and opponent gets ball at about the 20yd line and have to drive length of field to make it a 1 score game. To me thats less risky than kicking the FG and then having to kickoff to them, that gives Buff the chance to get a quick score with KO return TD
