Love this guy or hate him, he is dead right, no pun intended. Hope that N.D. does the right thing, and not just throw money around to make it all go away.

Actually maybe not , if indeed the winds "gusted up" as they say.
      I doubt it though.
      His tweets say it all.
Someone that is older and in charge should have realized that he was in harms way.
I completely understand the mentality of the younger people. Guy would not have bailed early for anything.A solid young man.
      Good for him.
But ...experience over a prolonged period of time that we all will go through dictates that someone should have overseen the plausibility that something bad could have happened with high winds.
Whoever was in charge , and it was someone, is totally responsible for this.
      Somebody dropped the ball.
      Who?
      Do not know.
Poor kid.I know exactly what he must have been thinking.
      Wow.

The gusts started at 3am that morning and lasted all day long, no sudden surge of wind like the ahole ad is saying

High winds were forecasted. Winds that high shut down highways to vehciles that are only 13'6". They sent that kind up in a crane to 50 feet.

As much as I hate N.D. i do believe if the media, and the public put the pressure to bear on them they will do the right thing, and can this jackass. they even held practice the next day, but said they were not sure if they were going to play the game. Yea right

If that is the case , and I completely believe you, they ( ND) should be shut down. Of course we all know that won't happen.
                Don't tell me "Gods Will".
                Act of God.
How about " act of stupidity".
Not by the gutsy kid who hung in,even though he realized he knew better , he never would have acted on his own, but by whoever is in F'in Charge.
Brian Kelly did not know to get that kid out of there?
                Too busy coaching? Bull Shit!
                Who else?
Whoever was in charge should be held accountable.
If this was a business the owners would be put in jail.
                They are spinning it already.
                So sad.

ND shouldnt even have to fire him, if a kid died on my watch like that, i would have resigned immediately and begged for forgiveness.
