Who Is The Dumbest Coach In Sports?
I just can't believe my eyes reading this report that Brad Childress is considering keeping Brett Favre out of Sunday's game. Seriously, Brad? Where the F have you been the last 20 years to think of even bench the NFL's iron man? And on top of that, ruin his streak?

I get it; he's not healthy, but Tarvaris Jackson is your backup. We're not going from Kevin Kolb to Michael Vick here.

I would love to be a fly on the wall where Chilly brings Favre into the room and says: "You know, Brett, keep your Wranglers on this week - you aren't playing."

First off, Favre wouldn't even listen to him; he'd still play.

But Childress has got to to be among the stupidest coaches in all of sports. From wasted timeouts, to the dumbest challenges, to pathetic unbelievable lies in press conference to just overall doing as little as possible with the amount of talent he's been given.

    Who's dumber? And why?

have you ever tried playing with a broken ankle? have you ever had gout in your big toe? Its extremely painful and hes not gonna be able to throw or hand the ball off like he should so if favre still cant really put any pressure on that foot like at the end of the vikings packers game than I would sit him out against the patriots and rely on the run, screens, short passes and play action deep to moss

An immobile QB is a liability. If Favre was removed from the game when he got hurt vs Packers they would have won the game. Instead he never tells anyone he can't run and boom he throws 3 picks one returned for a TD and the Vikings lose the game.

I don't think Wade Phillips can be considered as we all know he's not really the head coach.

First off, Son of Bum is a great call. As a matter of fact, that entire, overpaid coaching staff including that "offensive genius" Jason Garrett should be fired.

                                      Secondly, great avatar.

Thirdly, the backup option is Tarvaris Jackson. And I get your point; I know it's valid, but we're talking about Brett Favre here. Him and Cal Ripken Jr. get the benefit of the doubt on injuries. Favre has never missed a game.

Only Childress would do this, putting his quarterback in doubt or evening questioning it when he knows how important this streak is to Favre. Why not go with two quarterbacks? Switch them up, like you would in college and stick with the hot hand; it might be tougher to game plan for. Or just go with Favre and pull him if he can't work.

The bigger point here is Childress is a moron for basically threatening to bench Favre, which in my eyes will cause a season-ending rift if Favre feels he can play.

I'm not saying Chilly shouldn't play him if Favre simply can't go, but this has to be done behind closed doors and he's got to be able to lie better than this. Would this happen to a Bill Belichick coached team? It simply wouldn't be this public and that's why Chilly is a bum.

Plenty of really good candidates mentioned here. And tonight watch another one on the sidelines with WVU. Keep in mind as you cap this game there will be no running up the score. This phuck will sit on a 2 pt lead and try to run down the clock.

Lovie Smith, I love his blank stares onto the field..
like he is watching a rerun of "Lost in Space".

They are even considering extending his contract before the end of the 2011 season.

Sometimes I feel the only reason he keeps his job, or any reason these bad coaches stick around is to take the heat from the press.
