I've done that job. There was something fun about it especially because we had a leaf eater and didnt have to pick them up. No fun doing your own when you have crappy walmart blower and have to pick them up.

sometimes i wish i had that job. i swear i see them in summer doing the lawn, trimming bushes, and i envy them. they are always outdoors in the fresh air, they look healthy.. they breathe oxygen all day, never inside the house. most are in great shape.. these guys are built like trees, their strong, and have a nice tan.. and they're always burning calories.. it's great if you want to lose weight and get in shape.

i love to be outside and this is the perfect job.

boys, staying in the house and gambling all day is not healthy at all. we're killing our bodies in here. it's great to move around all day.. keeps us young.

made a lot of money while in college working landscaping, lots of cash. backpack blowers, riding mowers, line trimmers, all fun toys.

and you're outside, enjoying the sun. solid job.

90% of my italian high school friends are Landscapers/Gardners.. i swear they all haven't changed one bit in 25 yrs since high school. not 1 wrinkle. they look exactly the same as they did back in high school. why?? they work all day with asphalt, do the grass, and then in winter, they go work 3 days straight with no sleep shoveling snow in -57 deg blowing snow weather. they have like 200 houses to do..they do the stairs, driveways, etc. try doing that..

not only have they all not changed at all, but they are built like steel and have a great complexion from being outdoors and working hard labor. and when they are not working, they sit home and drink home made wine all day and sleep.. wine is great for you. and they eat pasta everyday of their life.

i envy these Italians. I wish i liked to work like them, but i hate working. i'm fukkin lazy..

working hard labor is very healthy and you'll never be fat..

I live in connecticut and my father started a company when he was in highschool. He is now retired at 56 and Im currently 30 and running a very profitable business. Like Nicky said before its not easy work and i can tell u the avg person would not last very long doing this. Now for the people we employee they all make good money and have health insurance and even have a company truck in some cases. Now im not saying i am a huge company but I do have ten full time guys I keep paid year round..even in the winter months.

I hate leaf blowers in general, because of the people using them.

Instead of collecting the leaves in bags, they just blow them off the lawn and into the street.

Damn stupid idea. 1)Littering street with garbage. 2)Wind may come and blow them right back.

My friend I work with does yards on the side, has a couple of guys doing the work for him makes 30k-40k for doing very little.

I know what u mean i see homeowners blowing them in street..usually company's have leave suckers on back of one of their bigger trucks with a box built on the back and suck them into that. If my arm wasnt broke in two places right now id be out wth one of my crews doing this
