Question for you players: How do you handle a loss of confidence?
I missed on play #1 for Week 9 in NCAA football (thanks to a missed FG), and got that temporary 'loss of confidence' feeling. I know some hard-asses on here won't admit it but we've all gotten it.

After staring at the wall and repeatedly cursing the kicker, it really got me thinking about it.

I'm curious - how do YOU handle it?

It's only money and you can always get more
        not being a smart azz
you have to let it roll off or you will end up
if you follow bankroll management it's fine and you have to tell yourself that
if you don't than sometimes you are out of the game until you can reloaded

I never have a loss of confidence because most of the time i didnt make the mistake. Meaning, 8 out of 10 times I capped it right but things happen that you cant cap or foresee as none of us have a crystal ball.

For instance, Anyone who had Dallas last night was probably on the right side as you could see by 1st qtr play, but you cant foresee Homo getting knocked out of the game.

Its when you have a few in a row where you were way off when your confidence gets rattled. Where you look back & say "how the fuk did I let myself do that??" Dont get me wrong, we all have games like that, but when it happens repeatedly is when you have to step back & gather yourself.

I didnt take Denver Sunday, but I didnt take oakland either. Something smelled funny about that game to me so I left it alone, and sometimes not losing is just as good as winning, because no one in their right mind takes oakland knowing they cover the spread around 30% of the time over the last several years, & good fukin luck pickin those 30 times out of 100

My confidence has been shattered since the beginning of baseball season. I second guess myself on every pick now, analyze every aspect of the game possible and can't seem to listen to the correct voice in my head telling me not to take that team. So I have no idea how to handle it or how to win. But like minet said it's only money and that's usually what I tell myself, shit could be a lot worse.
