ALERT: Alabama might lose this week

If you think about it most close games come down to turnovers. AL doesn't do that much. SC has had some problems. I'll go with what Spurrier said in his press conference. To paraphrase, " If they have an off day and we play a great game we have a chance to win". I think that about sums it up. AL is clearly the superior team here but, superior teams don't always win.
The bottom line is, if Alabama plays their A game and South Carolina does the same, Alabama wins and covers.

I would be more concerned with Auburn winning at Kentucky than Alabama winning at South Carolina. I think the play here is teasing both Kentucky and South Carolina. I feel that both games will be close either way.

lol i love all the love uk gets, i am a homer, i hope kentucky wins, don't get me wrong...They don't have a chance take auburn -6, kentucky no defense, lost 3 nfl pick last year, johnson, peters, and lindley....no one to replace them...cobb is a super star, lock a great back, hartline is terrible those numbers someone put are over blown because of uk schedule...just saying auburn -6 is the play, last year i think uk won 21-14 but things are alot differant now....good luck to everyone, auburn will win

If you listen to the people on these boards Bama's D sucks and every team should score 3 or more TD's against them. Problem is we have only gave up 3 all season. Our D was supposed to be a little down because we are breaking in 9 "new" players. However we have been pretty good thus far. Spurrier isnt the Spurrier of old and he hasnt had too many tricks up his sleeve. Ive always liked Spurdog but I have a feeling he has lost a step and this game will prove it. Bama wins end of story.

Break the games down and you'll notice something typical of a great coached defensive unit. Bama has given up a grand total of 6 points in the second half so far....FG's by Fla and Ark....nothing more. This occurred even as the other teams had huge T.O.P. also.

what i dont get it.. in my picks last week i said i think iowa state wins outright and they did. They were +7. I said indiana ml while they were +10 and it came down to the last plays. Now on -6 -6.5 games people are going crazy

Anybody is beatable, but I have been watching this Bama team and folks they are willing to pay the price. The going could be difficult. i do not expect them to walk all over SC on the road, but in the end they will make the plays necessary to leave as winners. Alabama plays with alot of poise even when they are trailing...which isn't often. They expect to win. Alabama has the swagger of a champion and an experienced offense with an improving defense.. All Alabama has to do is play with focus and intensity and the grind of a 60 minute game will wear down SC. It takes a lot to beat great athletes that have the heart of a champion.

Again, what sources do you have that can predict the future? Saying 1 of those teams might lose is like saying I might fall down a flight of stairs today... it's not impossible, but it is unlikely, and most importantly, IT MEANS NOTHING. I might win every single one of my bets for the next year. I might win the lottery tonight. Does that mean it will happen?

Bama wins and covers. I have thought about this game all day. Spurdog has been epic in blowing the big games since his return to college football. This is just another hard hitting SEC game where Bama walks away with a 10-17 point win.
