First of all to all the geniuses I am not the host. I live 4 hours away. Brock is the host. It's a contest. If you aren't interested, don't apply. I sat 6th row at the CU/CSU game this year and the seats were excellent. The view was great, and you could see everything. Check out the vid I made at Invesco if you don't believe me. I am not going to beg anyone to go, if you're not interested, don't bother commenting. Also Brock has some shit going on right now so I have absolutely no clue as to what he plans on doing for the tailgate. I will know more after October 3rd as far as Friday night and Sat. morning are concerned.

First you are offering me nothing but a ticket and then you start demanding all kinds of personal info as well? I mean how much information is required for a free ticket for a public event... you want a copy of my social security card and mother's maiden name as well? Honestly, I'm smelling scam (especially given that Brock Landers and Rickas are involved) but whatever I meet the terms and conditions as were requested and I'm not providing anymore biographical background information because, honestly, at this point I'm kindof fearful that this is a setup... (I'm thinking some kind of planned shanking might be involved... and yes, given my boyish innocence, I can't rule out that it is sexual perverse in nature... Just be forewarned that, given all the above, I plan on coming able to defend myself as the situation may dictate)...

At this point I have accepted that is a given that I have won this thing so I'm already making travel arrangements... If I don't win I'm going to assume it was because I sniffed out your "alternative motives" and plan on holding an alternative (read SAFE) SBR meetup in Champaign the same weekend...

Okay it's not a scam, if you don't want to go that's fine, I will just give it away to some broad I meet on Friday night. No biggie. I just thought it might be cool to have another poster join. And, like I stated earlier I live 4 hours away. There really isn't a way for me to plan the tailgating so you'll have to take that up with Brock. I assume he will have something figured out after he gets back from his vacation to Washington which is October 3rd. Yeah you can use my shower if you end up in Champaign, regardless if you are going with us to the game. I can't let you stink all weekend can I?

I do like how guys are insinuating I am cheap for giving away a ticket to a football game though. That's classy. I don't see other posters giving away tickets to games around here too often. Maybe some nosebleeds, but not 6th row.

I've given away more in SBR PTS and what their monetary value is valued at than what a 6th row ticket to a PURDUE/ILLINOIS game is worth.

Seriously, what is this ticket worth, $8-$15?

It's PURDUE, it's ILLINOIS, it's the crud game of the week in the BIG TEN............for crying out loud, if this were a Ohio State vs Wisky matchup in Madison, we would have something of halfass value here.

Now, you and your fellow groupies step up and buy Herbie ALL THE FOOD AND DRINK he can handle in a 36 hour timeframe after he is awarded this ticket.

Also by the way, I've invited ANY and ALL posters to numerous Iowa bowl games to enjoy UNlimited beer and food at my tailgate...........and many here took up the offer.

I would enjoy coming, But I will also be bringing my g/f. SO Brock would have to find another ticket for himself, and he'd have to sit apart from me/my g/f/richkas/Cougar.

Saturday Night - We would not be able to go to Joes or to Mike and Mollys. I believe I have a lifetime ban from those places. Joes for standing on a pool table and pissing in all the pockets. I woke up that night at a Holiday Inn, and no car. Sleeping in bed with 2 girls, and 4 of my friends on the pull out couch in the hotel room, with Pizza smashed all over the walls. Apparently on the walk after I escaped from the bouncers I met 2 girls at a pizza joint, and called my friends and we went back to their hotel. Took 3 hours of walking around the next day to find my car. It was in the Holiday Inn parking lot. My friend forgot to tell me he drove it there, and I caught a cab with the girls back to the hotel.

Those days are behind me, I only drink beer now. Not vodka with a splash of water.

Wow, this probably scares me more then anything in the thread because I find it pretty unlikely that you would take anyone of us here over any random broad... I figured you already give a least a couple tickets away to girls by this point but I guess you prefer the company of Rickas, Brock, and me?

Anyhow Cougar when am I going to be announced as the winner? I already decided (in order to make your "free" trip as close to free as possible) that I'm probably going to have to hitchhike up there and just leave a couple days before the game unless I can find another cheap ride or something (I've priced greyhound, driving, and flying and they are clearly out my price range right now)... Also I'm working a couple angles for free accommodations so I don't anticipate this being a problem (although just staying up all night drinking on the street and showering in your room is my backup plan)...

Basically I need to know if I won or not so I can start planning the alt-meetup if you pick someone else... Right now I'm thinking having anyone who wants to come with me just meet up at the nearest McDonald's before the game (With me providing all you can eat off the 1 dollar menu... Kindof buffet style) and we can make cheap mixed drinks in the parking lot (I will, of course, providing some cheap alcohol)... From there we will head to the stadium and we can scalp last minute tickets (because I agree with Fishhead's assessment that for this game butt-view prime tickets will going for twenty bucks at the most)... I'm still debating if I will organize something on Friday or not because, as I mentioned above, my funds are tight right now and these plans are all dependent on if you are going to try and cheat me out of your extra ticket or not...
