If I make a deposit this coming week before Thursday nights game will I qualify for the prizes ? Or will it be to late. I read the rules and I can't dicipher if that is before the deadline. Can someone help me please with my inquiry ?

That will be in time, BTJ.

Even without a deposit, you're eligible to win points.

For cash, you can even deposit after Thursday and still be eligible for cash prizes. You'd miss the first week, that's all.

"Final Standing Prize: You must have made your one-time deposit before Week 10's football games begin to be eligible for the end of season prize."

If you deposit after week 9, for example, you could still be eligible for end of the season cash prize and future weeks cash prizes.

You must make the deposit prior to any games going off the board that week, so by Thursday night.

Right, if someone is playing for Points prior to week 9 and has been making picks, they will still be able to deposit the $50 by week 10 for the Grand Prize/remaining weekly prize eligibility.

If someone joins the contest on Week 9 itself though, they will only be able to be eligible for the remaining weekly $10,000 prizes because 48 picks (capped at 4 a week) won't be able to be made.

You can lose the $50 deposit after joining the contest, it only has to be in there once after registering.

SBR works closely with the contest sponsors regarding accounts and deposits.

Is the Final Grand Prize based on most total units won or best winning %?

Winning % does not factor in.

Scoring is net units. The one instance where W/L can matter is if the Prick goes 4-0, no prizes are awarded for that week, even if someone finishes with more units than the Prick (4.1 to 4.0, for example).

Even if the Prick goes 4-0 every week, the grand prizes will still be awarded, and they'll go to the users with the most net units, provided they made at least 48 picks over the season. I doubt that'll matter, because it'll be awfully tough to place top 7 without at least 48 picks.

Yes, the deposit on Sept. 7th would make you cash-eligible.

So long as the balance is derived from a real-money deposit, you're fine.

That clock isn't synchronized with The Prick's plays. It was just a countdown timer to today, when the contest officially opens. The Prick's picks can still be expected to be placed in by 11:59pm Tuesday each week as listed in the Contest Terms in the original post & contest homepage.

You can join the BTP contest if you haven't already. If you place in the money any week then we will verify with DSI that you were cash eligible.

If I read the rules on page1 correctly, those of us with existing DSI accounts with balances of $50 or more are eligible (no new money needed)?
