Thanks SBR John. That would have been up by now though that is what I would have done first is to have a poker room with SBR points.

Some of the changes I would do would be make sure that the casino was paying right and SBR just broke even with paying 100 percent back to the players. I agree with Fishhead that drop the points to around half of purchases in the SBR store. I would have some better contests with the upcoming football season where you don't have to sign up for a certain book.

I would also have all of the books reviewed and updated because some have gone out of business and some of the numbers might have changed to call them. I would do a complete review of that.

I would also find a way to make it easier to fund books from the US and maybe even get those folks to advertise on this site also so all of us knows how you can get around this horrible law.

--Add 1-4Q best as well as 1H and halftime bets to the sportsbook.

It was a thread that was similar to this created by a mod and the topic ventured off into paying posters to post. I mentioned that the site should give credit to posters in regards to a sportsbook account and create a book for posters to bet at. The store would be a place to use your points as cash. My idea was to give the incentive to posters to post up at the forum instead of betting with makeshift bubble gum bookmakers like TSop. It was later adopted by which mod I have no clue. I have reason to lie about it obviously I have nothing to gain either way. If I could search for the thread I would but obviously "point" has been mentioned roughly 100k times and it would be impossible to dig up.

Adding to the scheme, more Q and H lines. Props would also be nice.

Final Suggestion: Professional Posters such as myself should be treated special. I want to feel like I am the center of SBR's World. You may ask yourself, "Self, what is a professional poster?". Someone who is on the forum more than 8 hours a day. And yes, moderators get paid to deal with my bullshit

I'm tired of the Mother Teresa act. You would think your payroll consists of missionaries with their martyr like complexes. If they were not getting paid enough they wouldn't be working here.

I would like to kick the points stiffs off the site. Who cares about the 40-50 stiffs. I would care more about the forum as a whole. At least remove their points program if they are not going to pay back their loans or something along those lines.

The plan is to host it on SBRPicks because SBRPicks already has the system built to do that sort of thing. We're working on a lot of internal systems right now at SBR it will be awhile before you start to see changes to SBRPicks or SBROdds but when we're done the capabilities of what we can do with these sites will be endless.

Give people raises, cut the prices in the sbr store, increase daily points, wow did he ask for ideas on how to run this place into the ground? Could do simple marketing things like making JJ wear a SBR hat or shirt in his videos. Poker will obviously increase the sites traffic immensely if marketed right.

The new internet gambling law really only helped the points system. Plain and simple SBR isn't marketed enough. I am always on the internet and only found this site because of a march madness poker tourney listed in bodog. Everyone I explain this site to thinks its to good to be true. Points for posting that you can use in a casino/sportsbook then get free stuff? More marketing more credibility.

SBR is by far the best sports handicapping forum on the net. Of course there's always a few things that everyone would suggest doing differently but if it isn't broke don't fuk with it. I would love to see 1H & 2H lines in the book. I feel that should have been done before the racebook was ever considered.

For reasons I wont discuss here getting the 1H & 2H lines in the book is slightly more complicated than it would seem. We do have plans to support this it will just take some time.

How bout a points "bailout", make whole those who were stiffed and snag points from those who stiffed, put them in a deficit, so for example if IRIPPEDUOFF logs in his points will show -69 until he is makes SBR whole.

Make sure people have one account per person.

Would a live scroll across the top or bottom be possible with scores and lines?

Point 1; ok, its worth another look. We have no control over the games except things like payouts on royal flushes and some minor rule adjustments. But I like the idea.(Lou what other casino rules for blackjack can we change to give the players an advantage?)

Point 2; I wish we could or someone could. That area is too hot. SBR has to protect our own banking arrangements. If a bank thinks you are booking bets they will kick you out in this world today.

Guys, I have addressed this a couple times. SBR gives us 7 points a day. What we do with them is our business. If you loan points out you take a risk to gain. They should not get involved & ban people for our actions.

SBR is not a socialist government & for them to get involved in posters personal affairs, disputes, would be stupid.

If you dont wanna take a chance of getting stiffed then don't loan points, that simple. Just like with any business venture where there is a chance to make a profit, there is also a chance of losing it all.
