I admit I was wrong on this game. I didn't know Mexican defense has more holes than swiss cheese. I saw your post but I have already made a play. Please post more opinions on games in the future. I liked your analysis.

Nah, I think going for the under was alright although I wouldn't bet on friendlies myself.

Teams are just starting to prepare for the world cup, lots of substitutions and most importantly the slow, sluggish Wembley pitch. So based on that I'd say it would have been fair to say that a free-flowing game with lots of goals wasn't to be expected.

The reactions in this thread have just been embarressing to say the least. Perfectly reasonable bet imho.


Just look at the Portugal v Cape Verde Islands game. Everyone would have expected a 6-0 or higher scoreline. But it finished goalless.

I really dont think the under was the play, and im not saying this beacause it was over, im saying this because mexico had a lot more oportunities to score, this match could easily finished 4-3 , 4-3. Mexico wanted this game so bad cuz they wanted to prove their country they are good, and at least in the first half they did very good, but in the second half cappello adjusted pretty good while Aguirre(Mexican D.t) did nothing.
