Iowa is methodical and has a superier coaching advantage, add in the home crowd and its easily an Iowa victory. PSU cant run the ball which means Iowa can just rush 4 all day and sit back and pick off Clifford like they have everyone else so far this year. There is always the chance Iowa loses, I mean its a top 5 showdown so anything is possible, but if there was ever a year Iowa makes a deep run this is it. Petras Isn't gonna beat anybody and put up crazy numbers, but he manages the game well, and does the little things, and makes the plays when needed. Goodson is as good as any back in the Big and he will be a big part of the game plan, running and receiving. Iowa's center is a top 10 draft pick this year, and they always have a solid line. Its actually a lot younger this year then most with some freshman and sophomores, but if there is one position Iowa reloads every year its the line. We have a great TE in Laporta who can wreak some havoc on opposing D's. And our D well they speak for themselves. Not any weak area on D. Should be a fun lower scoring game. I see Iowa winning something like 27-17. No team has scored more than 25 pts on Iowa in almost 30 games played.

I've been following IOWA football since Hayden fry was the head coach and chuck hartlieb was the qb.

Great story. National team? Not really.

I’m watching the tape of the Iowa vs Iowa State game now.

I’m leaning Iowa in that matchup, the QB throws a tight spiral, the WR’s and RB look good too and they look stout against the run.

Buckeye fan can't say who I would take in the one game... Iowa is a puzzle to figure out defensively. They can throw down a mean D and Penn St. seems one dimensional. Iowa in that game. Buckeyes can score at will on this team. Maryland and Rutgers have improved. Just not to this level. OSU names the score. Take the Scarlet and Gray! I feel the best of those three is the Iowa pick. Maryland lost their only legit WR. They were terrible against a slow unathletic Iowa offense. Ohio State has the #2 offense in the country averaging 560 yards per game. I doubt 21 points is anywhere near enough points to back the Terps in this spot. Plus their coach is bozo.

I do think Penn st has more offensive weapons and Clifford is much more of a threat that Tualia . This offense is formidable and will test Iowa defense. To that point I’m leaning PSU.

Penn State @ Iowa (Line is Hawkeyes -2.5) Both teams play staunch D and while the Hawkeyes O is nothing to write home about, i think they cover the short spread.

Maryland @ Ohio State (line is Buckeyes -21) Buckeyes are a like a runner catching his stride and rounding the corner. they can name the score in the Horseshoe.

If forced, i bet all 3 home teams. likely 2-1 ATS here

Buckeyes an ATS winner. Up by 38 in the third
