If they have a set date, they will call ASAP. In the hospitality industry you have to worry about other places stealing your employees especially with this much down time so managers want to know where everyone is and if they're coming back ASAP. Also want to get ahead of people planning to go out of town or something.

Nevada has some incredibly rural counties, like the most desolate places I've ever been in America. There are casinos throughout the state, not just in Vegas. Reno, Tahoe, Carson, the northern border and southern border, can't even remember the names of the small towns. Did those places even close? If they did, I would expect them to reopen on May 1st - 15th like most of the red states are. I was hearing that in some states, the tribal casinos were still open. Lol, never gonna kill the vices of society. There will always be gambling, drinking, prostitution etc. A little virus isn't going to stop it.

You’re absolutely right. Nevada is a big state and 2 million of its 3 million population live near the strip. The other 1 million are reallllly spread out.

80 plus percent of the country probably has/had the virus already. bunch of zombies creeping around, scared of random coughing from 100 feet away.. all the while not knowing they already had it and it's gone from their system now. with no medicine, shot, prevention at all.. people are crazy thinking they have magically avoided it while they're touching germ magnets everywhere.

just think of a simple trip to the supermarket. the gas for your car, the packed lot, the disgusting shopping cart, all the products, shelving, belts, money, paper, change, people on top of you. no one is FULLY avoiding skin contact, perfectly cleaning everything. for weeks we were told masks did NOTHING. we don't even truly know how effective they are now

vegas ain't going anywhere. whether this craziness lasts 2 months or 2 years.. every type of business that was making money before this happened will be making money once again. as if millionaires/billionaires would shy away from ownership opportunities to become even more rich by finding ways to lure in suckers.

just like after 9/11...airports were great to be in and flights were empty because everyone was scared to fly. Government has so many of these snowflakes scared of the virus that they wont come out anyway, so all the normal people can enjoy the casinos while distancing
