This course will show its fangs tomorrow. Today the wind sat down.
The problem is in the technology. Brooks Koepka nearly drove a 410 yard par 4, lipped out a putt for an eagle, and was disappointed to make a tap in birdie. The composite clubs and juiced balls are making the courses look silly.Comment -

The course looked tougher than it seems to be playing, scores too low, course is too easy. The Open is fukkin around here, the winner should be struggling to break par...now that's golf...
Two year ago, after 3 rounds of golf, the median and mean scores were 1 over par.
Last year after 3 rounds, the median was par and the mean closer to 1 under par (about two thirds a stroke).
After these 3 rounds this year, the median is 1 under par while the mean is about 1 and two thirds strokes under par.
Golfers have been progressively doing better relative to the course in recent years.
Or the course has been progressively getting easier relative to the field in recent years.
I could go on but you get the picture. Unless you can't see the value of this specific comparison, thinking weather and the different courses over the years are still factors in the comparisons.

Fukin clown show thread. One guy who actually knows the business & the rest Monday morning QB’s. Play any course when it’s cloudy and 60 with 7mph winds then the next day with rain & 25mph winds & tell me what your scores will be. Then guys commenting on 400yard drives when it’s on a fukin links course and says the balls are juiced
