Agree Big Orange. Fuk that World Cup bullshit! All it does is give an unfair advantage to foreign teams who don’t have to do shit to qualify. It becomes a fuk’in grind fest for the two American teams who must play every fuk’in day to try and win spot. It sucks big time, anything but another World Cup!

Lets run a points entry fee qualifiers for trips to the WSOP. That way you get serious players who really want a shot at going. All entry fees would be pooled toward entries to a WSOP event. Doesn’t have to be the main event either, there are a number of events any SBR pro poker would be thrilled to play in.

I do agree the World Cup is tough for USA players and while I have qualified for every one, there was a few times it was a total grind and bad variance can send a really good player to the rails. I thought you'd have to expand the teams, but more likely add one more. You could also keep it the same and make it incredibly tough. Maybe make it "Noth America" and merge Canada and the two USA teams so there is more slots to compete and keep international. I've seen Canadian players qualify with like 500 points, a total joke.

You already have bitcoin and a store loaded with good items, and I have heard 'Other Countries' posters having their sports book cash orders rejected because 'they exceeded maximum orders limit' on that book. This means points are rendered useless because since 2015 or 2016 SBR hasn't added a single new sportsbook option to the store, instead removing some.

So for those who think they are shit out of luck because they have to grind a little harder to make team... just keep digging, it's not going to get any easier. Quit bitching, bitches.

I've heard it's even worse for the Canadians. Once bitcoin is universally available to every SBR member, none of what I posted applies any more. But for now, 'fair/unfair' argument doesn't hold water. I'm guessing SBR has its reasons to keep Canada a separate team. I would say adding an extra team (or even two) would make sense. Like, keep the current 4 teams but also add SBR All-Stars team (JJGold, SBRDrew, Genie, JimmytheBag, The Prick etc etc) and a third team for the U.S.

And in the final, a 6-man table isn't that different from 4-man table. One thing SBR has shown is the software is good enough to add chips and/or chip stacks for the finals. So it shouldn't be difficult to create a really fun finals.

This is totally wrong. Rules were changed a couple of years ago. there is no lifetime limit, you are allowed to cash $1000 max per every 4 months, in the same book.
Read the rules:

The SBR Store reserves the right to limit users who have redeemed in excess of $1,000 in store cash to quarterly sportsbook cash redemptions through one sponsor.

Furthermore International customers can renew with a minimum deposit (even $10) in any book that they already have joined previously thru sbr link from the list of 8 major books.

And international users get $100 sportsbook cash for 1500 pts, when btc costs 2700 pts.

This would decrease the number of participants immensely. No one would would compete against the 10 SBR pros. The fact that you can qualify for a chance at 1000 gives the small guy, the average joe, a chance at winning.

The qualifiers also make it possible to not have to play everyday. For people with families, the average joe, a prize pool only based on standings would be unattractive as they would not be able to play everyday.
