I won a couple of hundreds this past weekend and it was the least profitable of the past 8 weeks I have been wagering on sports as I won every week since I restarted the sports betting 8 weeks ago after laying off it for 7 years because of my kids.
Green Bay losing straight up cost me $2,000+ in winnings as they were pretty much in all of my ML parlays. I still won a teaser and that single teaser bet win covered all my ML parlay losses plus a small profit. I probably lost most of single pick bets for the last 8 weeks but won a ton of ML parlays and teasers. All teasers were pretty much 7 teamers (7-8X) (maximum allowed at BookMaker) or higher up to 10 teamers (9X-25X) (maximum allowed at Bovada).
Majority of my ML parlay losses were mostly due to 1 loss at max and had I hit some of those, then I would be up way over 30K plus instead of only 10K. Two weeks ago, it was San Diego losing straight up to Denver in the last seconds because of time mismanagement by the idiot coach and the QB and Green Bay losing SU this week. Those two alone cost me $4,000 plus in winnings.
As crazy as it sounds, the ML parlays and teasers have been money for me on football as that's pretty much all I wager and I'll be withdrawing the remaining 4K or whatever is left when the football season is over. I cannot stand betting on basketball where over paid players don't give shit what happens in too many games and who the heck knows what's going to happen in college balls.Comment -

Have to learn who to tail and who to fade on SBR. Or, don't read any pick posts at all since I've lost more tailing.

How in the world can you win betting that many games a day? Juices alone going to kill you in the long run.
As to live betting, I use it only to offset my original bet and only when it's the last leg of my ML parlays or teasers. Even with that, I've lost over 2K because I should not have hedged at all.
Live betting is nothing more than a knee jerk reaction bets and it's going to screw you one way or another especially in basketball unless you have an incredible discipline. It's like a scare tactic the books use to suck more money out of you if anything.Comment -
A good example of live betting that's going to hurt players is last night's MNF game.
When the Steelers were up by 16 points against the Chargers and they have never ever lost when up by 16 points or more, all Chargers' backers had to been very nervous and if had the choice they could try to offset by betting something on the Steelers. The Chargers won in the end thanks to the idiot refs that practically allowed 2 free TDs for the Chargers by not calling the false start and the block in the back.
It didn't matter to me since I had the Steelers +3.5 on a 6.5 teaser, but I would have tried to offset the bet if I bet the Chargers and made nothing in the end if I did.
Perhaps you should stay off the live betting and maybe then you will start winning.Comment -
