Wild fires raging in LA, Californin.. This sucks!!

Schools shut down.. UCLA campus becoming a concern even now.. That's just 5 miles away from me.. Winds are expected to pick up again in a few hours... Big city parts are now a possible concern now..

I didn't think the fires would get this close.. Air quality still sucks.. Santa Monica City College shut down today also... Nervous time later today..

Satellite images can pick up these fires they are so big!!!

Nice homes getting threatened now by UCLA and JPaul Getty Museum... 405 frwy shut down.. That's creating a log jam on the streets... UCLA basketball game called off, sending students home now..

UCLA campus might get touched up later today if the winds pick up..

But this morning they said the wind will pick up tonight and be even worse tomorrow.

I get a new house build if my shiiit burns down.. I'm good.. State Farm has me covered.. My agent actually contacted me today.. That was out of the blue.. I think State Farm fire and flood is getting rocked lately..

Keep in mind most of these huge homes in Bel Air and other areas that get burnt to the ground are fully insured.. Don't feel to bad for these rich folks.. They get put up in a hotel for free and get a brand new house built after for free also.. Most of these people that lost their homes are fully covered like me...

It does suck that all these people that lost their homes lost all their personal belongings though.. Those can't be replaced with insurance.. Family stuff, clothes, family pictures, etc.....

Glad to hear you and family ok. Looks terrible there.

A lot of people will end up getting screwed by insurance. Just the nature of the business. My dad said anytime you have a decent sized home insurance claim, have a public claims adjuster take a look at home as well. The fee you end up paying if you decide to hire them will be worth it to take a lot of the bullshit off your hands.
