This whole thing is really fascinating to watch.

So instead of taking blame and trying to undo its newfound reputation as a bunch of agenda-pushing lefties, it's actually DOUBLING DOWN. Unreal.

Sportcenter has been run by idiots for a long time now that don't learn from their mistakes. They've tried, for years now, to make the show more "personality-driven" like it was back in the 90s, but viewers stopped giving a shit about the personalities a long time ago. Yet, they press on, with Max Bretos' salsa dancing nonsense, and people who give themselves nicknames like "Bucci Mane". What kind of rock-eating neanderthals watch the show for that reason? There's actually funny, entertaining people on lots of other channels, why would anyone go to ESPN and watch a bunch of middle-aged hacks try and do better?

They really do think we tune in nowadays to watch the anchors instead of the sports. So this move isn't really that surprising. They're getting paid a lot of money to do everything wrong.

Now their move is to target snowflakey whites and pissy women that don't like sports anyway, and angry minorities. You can't make this up. I just can't see why ratings haven't skyrocketted. I can't understand why advertisers are running away from that place like it's on fire.

If I could give a gift to the execs at Sportscenter it would be "just one honest friend".

This is what I love about the free market though -- it never lies in the end. ESPN can try and tell us what we want, but the market will always push back and put businesses like ESPN in their place.
