The last thing this guy would have ever done would have been a selfless act.

Honestly, the guy killed multiple people. The mutders he was acquitted of were for lack of enough evidence, not because he was innocent. This guy had a god complex and though he was WAY above the law.

To be totally honest, as cold as this may sound, I couldn't give two shits and frankly am happy that he did do it.

Also, don't throw Opie's comment away too easily. There may be some type of coverup here...apparently he had everyone in the jail believing he was the king of criminals or something. If somebody did off him, it is possible that they would try to make it look as though it was a suicide. Doubtful, but possible.

Heard that one guy was going to talk, shot him in the eye. That guy backed off. Then, he thought Odin Lloyd might talk, so he killed Odin. Hernandez was an evil mother fukker.

Depends what prison it was. If it's the type he can have any drugs he wants, and conjugal visits - it's probably not a tough place to live out your life.

This. Sorry guys, but makes no sense he offed himself after a big win. Why then? Guy did not at all seem like the remorseful, self-hating type. From what I'd heard, he was pure thug.

Therefore, I say this is as much a suicide as D'Angelo Barksdale's murder was, to quote a reference everyone should know. Hernandez was taken out. Probably the whole prison (cons and guards both) is in on the cover-up.

Aaron Hernandez died innocent of murder, despite the conviction for which he was serving a life sentence. It may be technical, but it's true. Aaron was convicted in 2015 of murdering Odin Lloyd. He was serving a life sentence when he was found hanging from his cell early Wednesday morning.

Under Massachusetts law, when a person dies while a criminal case is on appeal, the death effectively erases all the criminal proceedings ... it's as if Aaron was never arrested, never tried, never convicted.
