Gl pal, I doubt Virginia got 24 points better in a week beating up on NC St. I guess if they do then I will be losing a big chunk of coin. I guess we could both win if UNC wins by 3.

If I was Roy I would get rid of the ball screen up top. Spread the court and let Jackson and Berry drive to the lane. It will end up in a layup, a foul, or a put back by the bigs. Perrantes and man bun can't guard those two by themselves. They always get the hard hedge off the screen. That is what everyone else does to Virginia and they can't guard it. Drives me nuts watching the same shit over and over. Either that or put Jackson on the opposite side of the court of the post entry. When they double kick out for wide open 3 every time. They will either have to stop doubling or hope Jackson doesn't knock down 12 triples on them.

It's funny, as good as UVA's defense is, no one has really figured it out. I don't get why teams use ball screens on them so much. Best offense is probably isolation offense. Sounds weird, but never understood why people try to ball screen them. Either that or throw it in the post and know where to go with the ball cause you know the double is coming. Best way to beat UVA is hit jump shots. That's why Duke beat them, you have to be able to hit contested jumpers. Tough matchup for UNC as they don't really have many shot makers.

It is, the teams that do it take Virginia apart. Virginia lives off the screen. That way they can hedge hard and stop the player. If you just spread the court they have no help and that defense will collapse into itself when a guy drives and there will be at least one or two guys standing wide open.
