Isn't Rousey still marketable? She was all hype to start with. Is she coming back or not?

It seems like, with Rousey out, bringing these other girls to market hasn't been too successful.

I'm seeing +160 and it looks tempting but why is Rousey even back in the ring? Was she useless in Hollywood?

Makes me wonder just what she is doing here.

not sure of details but i'd figure the ppv gets her close to 500k maybe. and outside connor and rhonda, thats big ufc money. Dana has all the power. a smart promoter will come in somewhere eventually and when he has to compete for services, salaries will go up.

Wtf are you talking about? It's economics. Rousey was a superstar. Her name sold. The average person on the street has no fukkin' clue who Amanda Nunes is. They only knew she was fighting Rousey. Nunes made $200K...$100K to win, $100K to show, + the top amount of Reebok sponsorship $, + a performance bonus I would assume. Nunes prob on her 1st or 2nd contract, very in line with UFC's past pay. The stars draw buys and they are compensated well for it. Lorenzo would negotiate PPV buy % for the big names, Chuck, Randy, GSP, Silva, Rampage, Conor, Rousey, etc. Lately, with Conor and Rousey getting $3 milly paydays regardless win or lose. I wonder if the new outfit is dealing in PPV % or just flat pay days.

Bottom line is the bottom line. I paid ppv to see Rousey get her ass kicked just like I pay ppv to one day see Mayweather get his ass kicked (which looks like never). Most paying public is like me. They want to see the train wreck and even though the fight only lasted 48 seconds, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it.
