SBR just uses the contest to try and rope some dulard into becoming pro after he fires some timely darts in and can see the thousands he could win. It actually is a good strategy. Just drives me nuts when you see 30 non pros getting the same amount of points per week after the prick gets worked, with the knowledge that those points are just going to waste

If you do something when it benefits you then why have you not been a pro then? If you want it is a one time fee of $100 and for US posters then you can reup every year after that with points which in less than a year just by logging in on a daily basis, and I am sure you do, pays for a $100 gift card in the sbr store. That's not counting all the points you can win off of everything else on things like BTP contests. Betpoints are worthless if you don't so why would you not? It makes no sense to get involved in 70% of things sbr does as a non pro. That's like putting money in a savings account that gets no return basically.
I guess as a pro, I don't like the fact I enter contests and see posters that aren't pros taking their share of points in all these contests, such as BTP, knowing they are collecting them for absolutely nothing. They can't redeem them and even after those posters decide to go pro all of the points are wiped clean. Why even enter contests knowing even if you win points they are for nothing, wouldn't you agree that is a big waste of time?

An excellent post. The truth of the matter is that well over 85% of the non-pros in here are air bettors. They represent what is wrong in this country. They want a handout. A freebie. They want to show the world how macho they are, but like most of their fellow "players", they have to hide behind a computer to do it. The facts are these. Some of these people are nothing more than children, literally under 21. Most of them have serious social issues and are not liked in the great big outside world. So they flock to sites like this one to show the world just how good they are. If they fail to do well, they just simply disappear and come back under a different user name later on.
