While France are the better team they don't do well defending set pieces and Ronaldo has been excellent in the box and should have scored about 3 more goals from headers that his current 3 goal tally.

No team Portugal has played in the tournament so far has had a go at Portugal the way France will today as even Croatia sat back against Portugal.

The bookies expect this to be a tight low scoring game but I can see a goal in the first half which will open this game up.

The win-draw-win (moneyline) odds are right in my opinion but there is some value in France to score over 1.5 goals in 90 minutes at 9/5 (2.8) with Paddy Power and Stan James for those of you that can use these bookies.
