Why I hate Bob Costas.

I actually like Costas. He can conduct really good interviews, and he's a witty guy.

Agreed. I like em too. Get rid of John Madden if anything. Maybe its cause I play madden on the 360. I get tired of hearing him in the background.

I love Madden. I think you can turn off the play by play commentary in Madden. But, I know what you mean. He's the Harry Carry of the NFL. He's a blustering numb nuts, but still entertaining. Once in a while he'll utter a gem. He's part of the fabric which made the NFL great. You gotta give the guy a pass if you're a true NFL fan.

Costas is maybe a great talk show host, a great baseball analyst, etc. It is just wrong when he talks NFL.

I don't like Costas myself at all. He fashions himself as this learned intellectual who is better than the average person and it is clear that his broadcasting is largely rehearsed and he never hesitates to criticize athletes despite never being an athlete himself.

Costas needs to understand who is audience is and cut the elitest stuff out. There is a reason to why everyone likes John Madden....it's b/c his broadcasting is genuine, down to earth, and people can relate to him even though he only has an 8th grade vocabulary.

Costas needs to stay away from the horse racing scene! You can tell just how he doesn't know a absolute thing about that sport at all.

He stated we all know all we need to about Barry Bonds alleged drug use, before that actual trial. The trial found no convictions on lying about drug use. Costas says we all know about Bonds.

No, Costas, you KNOW about Bonds. We all have differing opinions on that, unlike the lie you reported that we all agree on Bonds.

We do not agree on Bonds.
And we do not all agree that you Costas are an ASS.

But that is certainly my opinion.

7.Beady eyes.

5.He knows nothing about the NFL.

He's a little man but they claim he's got a bigger unit than most of the guys in the NBA.Maybe that's what makes him so cocky?Ever hear about the guy that used one of his 3 wishes a genie granted him on wanting a thingie 10 times bigger than what he had?The genie shrunk him to a tenth the size scale model body size keeping his thingie the same size and said,your wish has been granted.Maybe that's what happened to Costas?
