My Fellow SBRers,
I've been on this site since October of 2010 but I've been mostly lurking up until now. I've joined contests and played poker but I never put in any effort to socialize or post picks for others. I feel like with the new year before us, it is a good time to start and to be a bit more active on here.
A bit about me:
Asian, 26 years old
Signed up at my first Sportsbook (Pinnacle) at age 18. I deposited $200 and maintained a very casual/conservative betting style ($5 to $10 per wager) for the most part. My funds lasted pretty much 2 full years before I went bankrupt from getting overzealous.
That's when I decided to look for another bookie to deposit to.. hence discovering SBR in the process.
My first signup thru an SBR Referral Link was at 5Dimes, then to BetDSI, then to SportsInteraction, then to SportBet (after my 5Dimes account ran out of funds), and also to a few other bookies that I never ended up actively using.
Collectively throughout my gambling career thus far I am OVERALL POSITIVE. This is in LARGE PART thanks for SBR. From the betpoints Rewards Program, I've netted 2 iPads and a few other electronics (when they used to ship internationally to Canada), and THOUSANDS of dollars in Sportsbook Cash and Free Plays.
I don't know how others fare when it comes to actually being able to WITHDRAW the Sportsbook Cash & Free Play bonuses by completing their rollover, but fortunately for me, I've been able to withdraw every dollar that I have wanted to from the SBR Bonuses by completing mine. I've withdrawn enough of a profit to be happy with, yet I've still been able to leave some money available to continue wagering. It definitely feels good to be playing on house money at this point.
Anyway, my intention here is not at all to brag.. I'm proud of my accomplishment, but I know that my winnings surely pale in comparison to a lot of other gamblers out there..
Currently I still have action at BetDSI, Bookmaker, and SportsInteraction
As stated, I want to start actually posting and documenting my bets for others to follow or fade.. I don't intend on posting lengthy write-ups to explain my rationale but I've thought of a neat alternative way of getting my picks out.
My intention is to create and post images of my picks on social media (Twitter and Instagram for now)
I don't know how well the images will translate if I try to upload them into SBR Posts, but I will certainly type out my picks here if it isn't compatible..
