In Chips first year DeSean Jackson didn't memorize the plays, slowed up OTAs & training camp & only wanted to run fly routes, wouldn't learn any other WR position, didn't wanna return punts, didn't buy into anything, wasn't a team player...Chip put up with it all season, enough was enough... The great tipper LeSean McCoy wanted ridiculous money that woulda hurt the cap, is on the decline & missed a ton of time this year, then cried when he was traded bc he knew he was better with Chip...Jeremy Maclin wanted a ton of money, is going on 28, when the whole league is trending towards young WRs...Nick Foles sucks -- all 4 of those guys won nothing, yet all had their best seasons under Chip...Foles, Evan Mathis, Trent Cole, Brandon Boykin, Bradley Fletcher, James Casey & Nate Allen all got benched this year...Cary Williams, Brad Smith & Todd Herramens are even't in the league - So who are we talking bout here?...Chip's first 4 drafts picks from last year, his first year in total control, will all start next year.

Chips fault was winning with an aging team if Jeff gave him personnel control year 2 we lose then draft Marriota and are a dynasty(meaning competitive for a decade) instead chip won with shitty old players... instead without divine intervention we are a bottom 5 team this year... If we don't have an immediate win now plan with the next coach I hope 80 percent of Eagles fans have strokes and cant go to games bc lets be honest we were a super bowl favorite and now are bottom feeders (at present) after 1 bad year

again let me take the time out of my busy day to once again correct Opie's errors.

Andys last year in philly (2012) his "team" was 4-12. After 13 years here it was just time for a change. Maybe some teams enjoy 1 playoff win in 6 years with the same coach. Some don't.

Andys done a great job this season. Let's win a playoff game in KC then judge how he's done.

After digesting all that's occurred here in the last 12 hours, here's my thoughts: Lurie realized he took too long to get rid of Reid and didn't wanna do same now. With Howie Roseman still in front office and the fact he and chip didn't get along, Lurie still had Howie in his ear about what was going on here. Lurie met with chip yesterday morning and said chip will have to give up personnel decisions. Chip balked, so was fired.

With regard to personnel moves. All about money. Not gonna pay DJax 10 mil. Not gonna pay Shady 13 mil. Not gonna pay maclin 12 mil. Did he kid himself by thinking his system would work with marginal players? Yes. Guy did coach one of the worse qbs in football (Foles) to a 27td 2 INT season. As it is with most NFL coaches, ego gets in the way.

Opie keep sleeping well at night telling yourself it was "injuries" that ruined this season. Just watched the Broncos with their backup QB clinch a playoff berth.
