I dont buy the whole "She was mentally ill so had superhuman strength" story

Plus what are the odds of that happening AND someone left door open AND she happens to climb into the water tank?

She was displaying fear and concern for her life in the elevatro, this is not something someone who is about to go for a swim in a water tank and end their life does.

Maybe someone left the door open to the roof but not the parlay.

The larger more famous Hotels that are really old always have a storied history of Suicides and or Wrongful deaths occurring just because of all the in and out traffic for so many years.. No surprise to me that alot of these types of paranormal events happen at Hotels such as these....

Cecil Hotel wasn't famous though. It was famous for the Serial Killers that resided their when they were knocking people off,that's about it.

I know Packard.. Same history with the Chelsea Hotel in New York city where I stayed years ago and had my own personal unexplained experience.... Shits real folks and my friend and I know exactly what we experienced staying at the Chelsea Hotel to this day..

Yep.. I asked where it happened.. One of the hotel managers was nice enough to give me the tour..

She was bipolar.
The night before she had 2 roommates and they complained to the hotel that she was acting very weird, so she was given her own room the next night.
From the video you can see that she is having an episode and not actually talking to someone. Watch her do the front step, side step at 1:22, those aren't steps taken to avoid a person, but of the mind wandering. At 1:40 you can see another episode where she is moving her hands around like maybe talking, but she was facing towards the inside of the elevator the whole time.
She was found naked, but all the clothes you see she has on in the video is found with her.
There is a small entry into the water-tanks that she could have stepped into. The reason the tower had to be cut was because the tanks look to be about 15-20 feet deep, and the opening that she went into was too small for equipment to go in and pull her out.

The only thing that isn't clear is how she got to the roof.
Old hotel, faulty door could be an explanation; maybe it was left open.
This is the only part that I don't have an answer to.
I would like to see if there were any tests done it, or questions to the faculty about if it is ever left open.

Getting onto the roof is the least mysterious thing about the whole ordeal. Clearly it was not secured properly or the alarm would have sounded, or perhaps the alarm system had stopped working and nobody cared enough to repair or replace it. Quite frankly there was probably some lying done to cover up some negligence that could have fallen on the hotel via a lawsuit from guests that drank dead Asian water (they drank and drank but 15 minutes later they were thirsty again) or the family of the deceased. Usually in the cases of something as 'mysterious' as this there is a human element involved that needs to be believed in order for something to be a mystery. If we just assume the people are lying to keep from getting in trouble, than this isn't a mystery at all. I choose to believe this dump was falling apart and nobody gave 2 shits who got on the roof until something bad happened.

When she pushed all the buttons in the elevator... the doors never closed? I mean... I don't recall any elevator having a long delay before closing the doors.

Wait... look closely at the first few seconds.... after she pushes the buttons. The elevator doors move a little and then go back into place. But never move again. WTF?
