Why doesn't McDonalds sell hotdogs?

Foot long Cheese Coneys and they sell tater tots. And yes, you can get chili cheese tots.
Why don't more places sell tater tots, people love 'em.

too many people would want them grilled and they would only have the capability to boil them. and they would be of low quality and hot dogs which are filled with leftover meat pieces which are not describable would cause some choking problems with younger patrons. also how much could you charge. they are a streamlined business. hot dogs are a separate entity unto themselves and must be sold separately in our society.

because hot dogs have a reputation of being made with low quality meats to begin with, you combine that with mcdonalds reputation of using low quality ingrediats and people with think there hotdogs are made with actual grabage

Probably the same factors that made their pizza experiment short lived. Most areas have local places that do it well, and have an extremely loyal following.

There are also local hamburger places that do it well and have loyal following. I personally think that the food at McDonald's suck, but it's the only place that has McDrive which makes them not just a fast food place, but really fast food.

So if you're traveling all day and have only a 5 minutes to eat in your car, McDonald's is your place, but if you want quality food relatively cheap, ask the locals what they suggest!

By the way everybody can make hot-dogs at home, but it's not so easy to make a pizza or a good hamburger, that's why they don't sell hot-dogs.

That's a good question; I consider they would atract even more customers, including the ones that pretend to eat healthier food and agreeing that hot-dogs are a less heavier type of food for the stomach than cheeseburgers are for example
