congrats Hbomb. I was sure someone else would put together a good run, but no one did. Very strange month. Worst month I've ever had on SftC, I believe.

marbles actually had a shot, but he only picked once a day over the last few days. He held the tiebreaker.

You can click the gold coin under one of his posts on the last page.

The first pick isn't for a few hours, so you should still be able to join.

OU/Texas under is probably the best pick. If I knew Georgetown/WVU would end in time for that, I'd pick that one even though I don't know which way to go.

However, it may not even end in time, leaving me to consider two paths:

1)Making the under my only pick, for a two pick day.

2)Taking Charlotte and then Deron Williams.

By the way, we're tied for 29th in terms of size of private groups. Some of the larger ones may have been public first, as well.

Georgetown-WVU is a complete toss-up to me, so I refused to pick it.

Took Charlotte, which means the only other possible pick tonight will be the player prop. If I'm at zero, I'll take Deron. If I'm at 2, I may skip it. I'll have to see.

There's a which minute will the first goal be scored in prop.

You'd think "Oh, it was put there so we could get in two afternoon picks."

Nope. If a goal is not scored by the 31st minute, the prop might not unlock until the game is over, because if no goals are scored, it will be ruled a push.

In the past, the "or later" option got no goal as well, so it could be unlocked before the next pick.

What idiocy.

Whatever you pick, basically, it's a two pick night.

Only reason to take a 7 pick is if you particularly like that one or a 9 pick.

there's no reason not to have that option available, really.

Today was screwing everyone even worse than usual ('usual' being when the outcome is decided, but they keep it locked to the bitter end, meaning you can't take another pick). Today, most people took 31 or earlier, and they kept it locked, even though the best those people could do was a very unlikely push.

There should never be an "x minute or earlier" prop if no goal is a push. It makes no sense. The only point of those props is that they end quickly, allowing another pick.
