Hmm, I don't know, Abe. Nothing against Jim Taylor, but check out this list to read about the toughest players ever:

Steve Sabol, President of NFL Films, once stated, “There are so many definitions of toughness. There's the toughness of getting the snot knocked out of you, and the can't-be-intimidated, never-quit kind of tough...

Every once in a while you see something "idiotic' like this !
There no creditability on this dumb top 40 choices .

Jim Brown and Jim Taylor would most probably tie for first place in a genuine top 40 TOUGHEST of all time !
Jim Taylor would run through a brickwall if he thought it would help Green Bay win ,now that's a fact you can believe in !

The only players that should even be eligible should have been the ones that get hit the hardest most frequently ,or,give the hardest hits most frequently .

Okay, but I would wager you didn't watch the NFL in the 60's ,so your opinion has to be taken as a bit biased .

Abe you have the worst "contests" ever. It's always some choice that you KNOW nobody is going to guess because you're too fukkin cheap to actually GIVE anybody 10 points.

I mean seriously, Madonna as the best romantic singer ever.... Jim Taylor as the toughest white guy football player. This is just a waste of time and attention whoring at it's worst.

If you want to feature Madonna or Jim Taylor in a trivia contest, then find a way to phrase the question so that somebody - ANYBODY - could actually figure out that's who you are talking about.

I saw Butkus, Lambert and Csonka

maybe the real toughest white man was Pat Tillman
I could list 100 guys that somebody could make the argument for. Tillman is good... Pat Fisher!(if anyone encompassed the "do more with less" attitude of Pete Rose it was Fisher) John Riggins, Sam Huff, Dave Butz... I'm just going through Redskins here. You could name 5 or 6 guys from every franchise's history that could be considered to fit the mold of this question.

I totally agree!! Abe, your contests are kind of ridiculous... they are completely PERSONAL -- they are nothing at all like TRIVIA, where if you think about it hard, you can come up with an answer!!

Exactly Cappy, but it wouldn't be Paris, or Rome, or New York, or Sao Paulo.... it would be Bismark, North Dakota or somewhere else completely random so that nobody could ever possibly guess it.

However ,you and your boys seem to have a extremely hard time understanding that someone older than you boys ,or a player I choose for a topic ,is actually right on the money .
