Agreed, although I don't think Hamilton would be a good fit. Need a guy with more range. Hamilton is long in the tooth and just doesn't shoot a very good percentage anymore.

OJ Mayo looks good to me. James Johnson and a first rounder (from Charlotte I think).

I guess if you can get to the rim at will you don't have to be that great of a shooter. Ask young Michael Jordan, or Dominque.

I think Mayo is one of the more underrated players in the league. He is a good offensive player and really an elite defender at the SG spot.

I don't think Chicago could get him without giving up Gibson and a first or something of that sort.

I think Rip would be okay because he is good without the ball and Rose would be able to find him for a lot of open looks. He also has that veteran presence and playoff experience they lack.

Rose tonight 5/6 behind the arc and 16/25 last 5 games. That's as many 3's as he made each of his first 2 seasons. If that is for real then he might be the best player in the NBA. Completely unguardable if they have to try to play him that close that far from the basket. If the Bulls could somehow get a real 2 guard they might be the best team in the NBA.

The great thing about Rose is that he does what he does without going to the line like the other superstars do even though he's consistently driving to the bucket and getting as much contact as the other guys. Last night he showed what he can do when he finally gets some calls going his way.

He got calls and he was being more aggressive accepting contact. He's so quick that he can minimize contact when he wants to, but he's learning that when he beats his man it's often best to draw some contact and he's strong enough to still get a good shot up. He's smart and he learns well. He will learn this and get better at getting to the line more, and should get more calls as he continues to do that. Nothing against Chris Paul, but Rose is easily the most unguardable point guard in the NBA. Unique combo of quickness, speed, strength and skill. And his jumps hot is 100% improved just from last season.

D Rose is playing awesome for how young he actually is. Don't see him winning anything major anytime soon, but he will get there eventually.
