How many bettors LIKE THIS do books have to put up with ?
He sends 100.00 by ** early Thursday afternoon. Makes a dozen or so $22.00 bets through MNF. Wants all of his balance, $142.50, sent back by ** free on Tuesday.

Many many people begin that way, especially young guys. I made many 10.00 wagers when I was young and he never said a word about it

These kinds of bettors are ruining the industry. What's the point of doing this?

The problem is the book's. They need to accomodate the young crowd that gambles peanuts and depends on the $40 profit for day to day living expenses.

Pavy is 100% correct here, which screw us people who have several K's in quite a few sport books. The books don't need that shit and should stop catering to it. This is why Bookmaker and cris are a pain in the ass to withdraw from.

Might be a lot, but those are the guys who move up to 50, 100 and 500 dollar bets and make the books their millions.

Exactly. The books want these guys at their shop because they are hoping they eventually start betting more.

small bets aren't the problem. the problem are the people depositing and withdrawing every week. this was ok when neteller was around and why bodog did so good. these days it's a pain in the ass for the books.
i had an interesting conversation with an A+ book this week who let me keep limits on something i was beating them badly on specifically because they liked my transaction history (i withdrawal 1-2 times a year tops)

isn't this why they have rollover requirements to cover transfer fees?

This type of thing I imagine is far more common here in Australia where there are only transfer fees for stuff like cheques and basically every local book has free credit card deposit/bank withdrawal/Paypal. If I deposit say 50 bucks one afternoon, and manage to turn it into 100 bucks and request a withdrawal that same night the profit will be in my bank account within 2 days unless it is on a non working day.

right, but it's legal there so the books have no real problems with this. back before the crackdown in the usa, you could easily deposit $100 at bodog friday, take a bonus, bet a bunch of games sat.sun and pullout monday, and it really didn't cost them anything extra. now processing is a pain in the ass.
if you are cris and you charge an absurd amount for a payout, it's probably ok, it's just their way of telling small bettors that they aren't worth their time, but small books have some issues.
