Joey, I don't work for any book let alone Sportsbook.com. I will agree SB is NOW a piece of shit book, but weren't too bad before the legislation kicked in. I am as pissed an anyone but do believe I will eventually get paid. If payment does not come soon, I will react by not using SB ever again. Sayne is correct. Not sure who has heard or if anyone has but as of May 1st 2007 Jazette sites will no longer offer live chat or email support between the hours of 9PM EST and 4am EST.
All your going to get is a Costa Rican who can barley speak English on the phone during these hours.

are you seriously that dense? yes sportsbook sucks, i wont use them anymore for sure, but most posters that have been around from the start of this thread have been paid! Most of the posters from the start who said sportsbook was going under and would not pay a dime to anyone... got paid and then went away. I understand that the 21st wires are f'd so those of you in that group are still getting screwed, i'd be pissed to. The last wire i got took 10 business days exactly from when it was processed.
It is no suprise sportsbook doesn't post on there site about the withdraw delay, they would lose a lot of business, and might cause them to collapse. I'm perfectly fine with this as long as it improves my chances of getting paid before they go under. If you were smart you'd see this as well.
The new antigaming laws did largely cause this whole situation, and you should realize it will likely get worse and worse with all books, so those books that your touting now as paying fast, wait til they all start losing there processors in the future and are in the same situation sportsbook is in. The new laws haven't really gone into effect yet, just wait til they do.Comment -
Modern, are you saying the online books pretty much won't make it? I hope that's not what you're implying. I believe the stronger books will find a way to adapt, and things will be fine as they were. Y'all I've been waiting for a measley $400 from SB now since Feb. In addition, I've been waiting for $137 from bodog since March, both BD and SB say the exact same thing.

I think some of you are confusing two seprate issues. We can't blame SB over the fact taht they lost thier processors. It's understandable that it it took a little time to get some new processors in place.
What is unexcusable is the fact that they are in total disaaray and give out false information and sometimes just blatantly lie to their customers. How do they not know what happened to the wires that were sent on the 21st. If they were resent on the 4th, hos it once again no one has recieved thier funds and SB has no idea where the money is, nor is thier any indication they really care.
WHy aren't payouts being doen in the order they were recieved. If the backlog is shifting, why can't anyone give us an estimate as to when our funds will be sent. How is it I get an email on monday telling me that my withdrawals will be processed this week. Then i get an email on Tuesday saying my withdrawals are currently being processed, then I get an meail on Wednesday saying they will be processed with 48 hours, then I'm told on live chat on Friday I need to wait another 2 weeks.
You can blame the US government for getting rid of all the good processors, but no one is putting a gun to Jazettes head ordering them to lie to us. I can deal very well with slow pay. I don't deal well with being lied to. I don't deal well with people who treat me like an idiot. And it bothers me to no end that people who withdrew after me have already recieved thier fund and I'm still stuck in a queue. And no one is willing to offer an adequate explanation. I'm waiting on 56k and I can't get anyone above a cs supervisor to talk to me.
This situation has a lot more to do with lousy CS than it does with slow pays.Comment -
marc, I'm waiting on nearly that much. I truly believe the people that are owed the most will get paid slower. Not sure why that is but appears to be coming to fruition. As long as I get paid all my funds by June 1, 2007, I'll be fairly happy. It's just the fact that I'm not 100% sure I will get it all is what gets on my nerves. As a few people have mentioned, we shouldn't have allowed SB to accumulate this much of our money. This I'll take the blame for. Well they owe me money too. They paid me once before and I stopped using them because they didn't offer very good customer service. I went back because of the boxing parlays they offer and now I'm in the same position as everyone else.
Also, I won a parlay around 4 hours ago - nothing credited to my account. When I asked the Live Chat person why the funds had not been credited yet, his exact words were, "Nobody is working now so it's going to be another 12 hours or so before you'll see the funds."
Maybe so but I have my doubts and it should be relatively hasslefree to wager online...I'll be changing to another book as soon as I get this squared away.Comment -

If sb had sent me an email that that beause of the backlog, to be fair to all thier cusomters they only wanted to process one of my withdrawals at a time. I could live with that. But to say becuase at the end of march I made 4 requests totalling 32k, and then 3 more subsequent requests, that they won't pay me a dime unitl one of thier processors is able to pay me in full in one shot is unacceptable.
The impression I get is that they are using this as an oppurtunity to get rid of cusomters who they feel are undesirable. A guy like me who deposits a lot, then withdrawas to pay my cc bills, and then redeposits, under this environment might not be thier ideal cusomter. So now they are going to punish me by dleaying my payout.
One cs rep I spoke to was honest enogh to say that smaller customers are getting paid faster, and it's possible the reason why the larger payouts are being held up is that there could be some serious complication with one of the wire processors that the withdrawals department isn't telling them.Comment -
As promised, I glad to report that I finally received my check from Sportsbook.com for a little under 10k today ,sent by regular mail from a German processor.I deposited it at my ATM today also.I thought for sure they were trying to screw me and was ready to do a ********** but now I'm glad I held off to avoid further headaches.The only payment they now owe me is for about 500.00 and it was processed already and sent by DHL and I expect it shortly.The point is I got my large sum.Keep in mind I too have been waiting for months on this payout.I hope you all get paid soon,Spanks.Comment -

spanks, how do you know it was already sent DHL. I re-requested my withdrawal via express check from DHL. Is there some way I can find out through DHL what's going on with my delivery so I don't have to deal with sportsbooks.com customer service? Has anyone had any luck tracking their withdrawal through DHL. I'm assuming mine won't even be processed for a couple weeks, if ever. But if anyone can PM info about their DHL delivery/tracking so not too much info is posted on the board, that would be awesome. I remember earlier in the thread people talking about tracking their checks, but it could have been on page 40, or 65, or 73 i have no idea. I wonder if one of the factors in decidng who gets out of the queue is whihc book you are withdrawing from. For instance maybe a sportsbook.com player will get paid faster than a betusa player, since Jazette wants to pay thier own players before paying the players of boks they manage.Comment -
The problem is wiht every passing day there is a chance they will lose thier processors whihc would then set us back another 2 months. And with each passing day there is another person doing a ********** whihc increases the chances of them losing thier credit card processors. EVen if we are willing to wait, will there be a point at whihc Jazette says screw it and closes shop.

well unless changes are made to the new laws or the doj decides to take it easy... i think it's likely that most of the well run bigger books will say screw it, and just not take us players anymore, like pinnacle did, just going to be to much trouble. today i heard a new excuse from these frauds. When i asked where was my withdrawl that was supposedly sent March 19th they replied "it should be in your bank already" "we will trace it"
I expect tommorrow they will discover my bank rejected it or some story like that and it will go back in my account to start over.

bangkoklucky - I would not give up your winnings just yet. Out 95 pages of post here, although it may been slow, sportsbook seems to have paid them after delays and multible excuses. I know that there are some that are still waiting but I do believe they will be paid as well.
I'm not defending Sportsbook. Have no funds in sportbook.com anymore. I use Bodog and trying to get something set up with BetJamaica as per advice of SBR. But they have a been a reasonably dependable sportsbook for years. They have had very few payout issue's until the US Congress decided to change the laws. All I'm trying say is be pateint I think your funds will come. Good luck

sayner do you realize that history is bunk? very few payout issues prior to last october is meaningless when you consider that management unloaded the company at that point. Its possible i will get paid. But i regard the odds of that as some where between getting hit by lightening and getting kidnapped by terrorists.Comment
