What's your gambling pet peeve?

Books that short you a penny, say you make a play that shows to win $100 then on your pending wagers when you check it only to $99.99. Yeah it's only a penny but thousands and thousands of customers making thousands of thousands wagers on a daily basis adds up. Sure the response is it's the way the system does it, could business but unethical business practice.

People that bring emotions into any form of game whether it be BJ, poker, ect. , like emotion somehow has something to do with the other. To me when I see emotion it's a tell $wagered is way over their head because they lack knowledge of the principals.

Rude dealers that think they're funny
(Been to thee tables only once in the last several years because of this)

I remember, 15 years ago, when i lived in New Mexico and I hit the rez casinos-All the dealers were polite

Here in Vegas, their are so many burnt out dealers that enjoy their own misery(and misery loves company)

With all that woke shit going on, makes me wonder, are casinos afraid to put their hands on a bum for trespassing

It is only in AC. The homeless have coordinated attacks of jerk circles . It depends on the type of jerk circle it is to the amount it costs to stop it. A basic $1 jerk circle of homeless people is $1 to stop . If they start dancing in unison it is $2 to stop. If they sing Memories by Streisand while dancing it is $3 . For $5 they will do that for an hour straight if you like that sort of thing. For $10 they will do it for an hour but you can pick the song .

Don't like that at the BJ table either. Grumpy people at poker or any table game sucks the fun out.

Pet peeve about online gambling is books that offer "unfairly" low cashout offers.

I would have to disagree with that statement.

I've played blackjack for over 40 years and this is what I've seen too frequently.

If the idiot who isn't playing by the blackjack strategy is lucky, then that player will make everybody win at the table with his or her stupid plays by how the cards fall. On the flip side, if the player is just plain bad luck, then whatever he or she does will make everyone lose at the table when they could have won if the play was the opposite. You would think that they will even out in the end, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

One example that I will NEVER forget happened at Borgata.

There were 3 players. A woman (1st seat), an old man (middle seat), and a young Asian man (anchor), and they all knew how to play such as hitting 12 against the dealer's 2 up card.

The old man in the middle was playing 3 hands at the table max of $3,000 each. In one particular hand, he had splits and doubles like crazy on all three of his hands for a total of $33,000 bets and he had nothing less than 19 (mostly 20's) in all of his hands against the dealer deuce.

The anchor was playing strictly by the strategy the whole time that I was watching and they were on a winning streak of at least 5 table wins in a row and his bet got up to $250. Then, he unexpectedly chickened out (probably because of his bet size) and waved off his 12 instead of hitting which is the proper play.

The dealer flipped the hole card and it was 9. The next card was a King and everyone lost at the table.

The next two cards were Ace and Queen.

The anchor not hitting his 12 cost the old man a $66,000 swing and that was the biggest swing that I have ever seen people playing blackjack.

The Asian man would have lost his $250 bet if he took a hit, but the old man would have won $33,000 and so would the woman and her $25 bet. Instead, he made everyone lose by not playing by the strategy.

I have never seen it in AC and I play everyday. He is making up a story. AC isn't like Vegas, but it's not really that bad.

What casino was it that you see homeless people asking for money inside casinos?

I've play in just about every casino in AC and I haven't seen it.

You go to McDonald's near Caesars, then yes you do see that but not in casinos.

You know it is true they are everywhere. Once i ran to my car and got away. While i was coming home thinking i was clear i heard a bang in the rear. I pulled over and opened the trunk . 30 of them fell out of my trunk and started dancing. They're everywhere.

It's gotten so bad that the AC casinos now offer fly swatters at some of the high limit tables. For reasons of legality, you're not allowed to touch the homeless denizens if you're seated at the blackjack table because they're the litigious sort that are looking for a quick buck and will decry your touch as "assault" if given half a chance.

I played a dime on one hand while in Atlantic City and a homeless guy unbuckled my pants and buried his face in my lap. I was forced to delicately tap him on the back of the head with a fly swatter until he came up for air, and then I altogether removed myself from the situation... And to make it so bad, my hand was a 22.

This happens in PA. I almost knocked out a young girl coming up from behind me hiding out at the horse track is were they were at. Hey Phillies can u give me some money plz I no u got money I seen u here for 5 days. Homeless girl no more than 18 at 430am walking to my room. Then 3 of her gfs came out of nowhere. I threw them off a hundo and gave them some advice never to do that again. Sad
