FCS National Championship: Montana St -3 vs NDSU

Been a good run this FCS playoff season, here we go again. Well, everything has come full circle it appears. Touchdown Tommy and Mt St not only gets another crack at the national championship but also gets a chance at revenge for the brutal overtime loss to NDSU last season in the playoffs. The blocked extra point has never been forgotten and here we are.

I could go on and on about this but I will just say this.............Mt St in previous years has been out classed in the trenches against the Dakota schools. That is no longer the case. Mt St, most likely, has the best offensive line in the country. They also have the best QB in the country taking the field who has become a very good passer, which in my mind, is the reason this team went to a whole new level.

Simply put they have the best offense in the country. No one can stop it and while their defense has given up some plays this post season they have not allowed many touchdowns. NDSU is a good team and has shown they can win but I am not about to get off the Mt St bus. They have taken care of every team by comfortable margins, and I see no reason why they don't finish this off.

If Mt St shows up with A game, they will take care of NDSU by 7+ imo. This should be a great game to watch. Two great teams will collide.

Well really only one and it was a hell of a comeback to beat New Mexico. That was the only game they have trailed for any good amount of time this season. The UC Davis game final score was a result of Mt St thinking the game was over and quit playing. Instead of going for a 4th and inches they punted. Gave up a 78 yard pass which lead to a quick td, then gave up an onside kick, and then another quick td. That was a good lesson for them to learn as they now don't stop attacking. But then again, you don't punt with 1:37 seconds left up 15 and expect to be trying to deny a 2 point conversion to win.

If the ML bet is 99% guaranteed, then $363 isn't that much more to pay but I may have to rethink about this and I'm sure I will regret if I don't bet it.

Well I wouldn't even consider calling a Mt St win a guarantee. NDSU knows how to win and is no slouch. I just think this year Mt St has the edge. I guess we will find out soon enough. Good luck to you whatever you decide. I just don't think betting a ml, giving that much juice to the books, on this team that no one has threatened to cover against them. Just my thoughts on that.

The Montana State moneyline has climbed even higher where BetMGM is now at -200.

I will have to offset it with the Baltimore Ravens ML -500 added at DraftKings in Resorts, so the juice is reduced to -125 which is reasonable.

God I love the caous of FCS on books, they are just getting hit from all angles. Lines going everywhere. Bovada was 3 now 4.5 while bookmaker was 3 went to 4 then back to 3. Every week and to make matters worse for them it is a Monday night with no NFL so every Dick and Joe blindly just firing away

It looks to me like the books cannot get enough of NDST bets to even out.

No Mt St up to 5 now. Cats getting slammed. But this happens every week of playoffs because books have such low limits. I mean I had to bet Mt St at 3 different books first 3 rounds just to get enough on them
