Lakers on an 8 game win streak. They look locked in and dangerous. There defense is stifling. I can’t count LeBron and Luka out until they’re out. The Warriors also look great with Butler. Another guy that is hard to vote against. He’s a big time performer. I think Denver can beat any team in the West but OKC.
i agree. Boston most likely repeats. I don’t even think they are playing hard.Leave a comment:

Ho hum. Cavs on yet another 13 game win streak. They’ve done it 3 times this season.
Good game upcoming on Sunday vs the Bucks who are on an 8 game win streak.Leave a comment:

Agreed wholeheartedly with the first sentence. Also don't think the Lakers or warriors win the trophy. Most likely BOSTON repeats imo. Denver looks okay but they might not have enough for the whole four rounds.
I agree the playoffs should be fun at some point. Not sure the first round will be any good though.

I don’t think the Cavs and OKC have enough playoff experience to hoist a trophy. Boston, Lakers and Warriors have all had to learn how to lose before they won. Even the Bucks have more experience.Leave a comment:

NBA playoffs are going to be crazy. I think we may see several upsets. I have no clue who beats who. I think some teams matchup well versus some teams but not other teams. The West is very intriguing. Lakers and Warriors both could make noise. The Bucks and even the Pistons could upset somebody in the East. I can’t wait to watch.Leave a comment:

Damn the Cavs are definitely a problem. It's going to be exciting in the eastern conference finals when the Cavs have game 7 at home vs Boston and lose unlike in 2018 when they won in Boston. You need LeBron to do that though.Leave a comment:

Cavaliers first team to clinch a playoff spot before St. Paddy’s day. Remarkable.Leave a comment:

We no longer have points. I nominate any posts that I think is good. Don’t care if it’s about the Cavs or not. I don’t care if anyone agrees with me or not. I posted this exact thread the last 3 seasons and the Cavs have been covering fools in the regular season. I didn’t create the threads before the season began like most homers. I watched them play a few games each season and came to that conclusion. You would have made a lot of money betting on them the last 3 years. Maybe this is their year. I still favor the Celtics but the Cavs have been steadily moving up in this league. They have been a problem that teams have to deal with.Leave a comment:

It wasn't a prediction dopey. I was alluding to their chances in the outright market. They fall behind 3-25... then at the beginning of the 3rd the deficit stretches from 10 to 17. I deduce that their best lineup lacks teeth. One game sample but 3-25 penetrating hell...
Not a Celtics backer either -is that how you "win" arguments, falsely attributing opinions to your foes? Celtics have issues with Holiday banged up. Going to be an interesting playoffs this year. Try to enjoy it without pettiness -never met a good bettor that wanted everyone to agree with him, giving points and nominations to those that do ffs.
This is the NBA. Teams make runs all the time. 25-3, okay, well how about the run the Cavs made in the end? How many times has Boston blown big leads??Leave a comment:

Pritchard was also like -26. You blaming him too? Isn’t he the 6th man of the year? That’s like saying the Cavs went down 22 points because of Max Strus. Are you really going there? Did Tatum and Brown play? Weren’t they on the court when the Cavs came back and never looked back. But according to you the Cs lost because of Luke Kornet. Hilarious…Leave a comment:

The Cavs and Boston are 2-2 against each other. They both have scored the same amount of points. Both teams have had stars out when they played. Stop making excuses. The Cavs are right there with Boston. Sure Boston are the champs. To be the best you got to beat the best. I favor them for sure. But this Cavs team is Jupiter rising. They’re coming for everyone.Leave a comment:

When has Porzingus ever been healthy? You counting on him in the playoffs? Kornet played like 17 minutes. You really putting this loss on him?
‘You left the Cavs for dead the first few minutes. They settled in and masterfully walked the Celtics down and beat them in their own house. This Cavs team is special. Boston is still the favorite but THE CAVS ARE A FUKKING PROBLEM….Leave a comment:

Yes, it’s early in the season but if the Cavs can finally stay healthy, they are going to be a tough out. New coach Kenny Atkinson is a huge upgrade over Bickerstaff. They are pushing the pace offensively and still very good on defense. The Cavs are built to beat Boston. They might still struggle with physical teams but NY lost their best big.
BTW, they’ve covered every game this season. All blowouts. Beating down the Lakers tonight.
+4000 to win it all is a good play.
Boston +175
OKC +200Leave a comment:

Donovan Mitchell the 2nd player with 4-30+ point games versus the Celtics. Mitchell is the Celtic killer like LeBron was…

Jesus these guys are worse than I thought. Down 3-25 in Boston to a Celtics team missing Holiday and KP. Have actually seen this before so it shouldn't be a surprise; it's like the OKC game all over again.Leave a comment:

Cavs blows out the Knicks by 37 points. Put up 142 points tonight. The Cavs are a Fn problem folks. Knicks have beaten up on bad teams but have to beat the top teams in the Association.Leave a comment:

This is a good take. He has all the physical tools. He is LOOOONG. I already know his defense is going to be unworldly. Plus learning from tough nose Udoka will help a lot. Something just clicked with him offensively. If that continues, watch out.
I’ll be sitting courtside this Thursday when they play GSW. That game has become must see with Butler on the Warriors.Leave a comment:

Yeah, Edwards is in a no win position. He’s surrounded by a lot of JAGS with the injuries right now. Too much pressure for one player.Leave a comment:
