I'm 50 and would of guessed him at least 53 when he pitched in his later years? Doctored Birth Certificate? He was a great pitcher no matter what his age was. Dodgers or bust now.

In other related Dodgers news, Ohtani brushed his teeth and went to bed at 8:43 p.m. He will be due up to bat first in game 1.

Yeah, there were rumors for years that he lied about his age.

                            RIP, to an icon.

Fernando-mania was real when I was a kid ... we'd all imitate his delivery - and we lived on the other side of the country. This is back when kids could watch nationally televised baseball in the day time.

Nowadays kids watch hardcore porn and the only skills they develop on their own are confined to video games as their parents pretend there's nothing wrong with them, at least nothing that a little Adderall can't fix.

                            Go Dodgers.

I live in L.A. and the local news said he died of liver cancer.

Sucks, he was a great pitcher.

                              RIP.

Ya, that was an amazing time. Teddy Higuera was a Mexican pitcher for the Brewers some years later.

I looked it up. Teddy is actually three years older than Fernando. Can't believe that.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?
