My pet peeve of the day = These coaches not knowing the ability of their own kicker.

How many times do these coaches try a FG when the kicker has virtually no chance of making it?

*The South Carolina HC tried a 51yd FG when that guy had no chance of making it.

*Is this TENN kicker ever making a 53-yarder?

These coaches are just throwing shit against the wall.

Agree. Kicker in the NFL is a weapon. These college coaches don’t use them properly and it’s a crapshoot. They are sending guys in a praying.

Salud, Nashy. I honestly don't think they give it a 2nd thought. Or they want to avoid criticism.

In the 4th and middling situations from the 30 to 35, I really think you just Go for It (unless your kicker has a huge leg). A completion gets the FD and gives you a chance for the TD.
