    Tough go for Oakland sports fans the past few years.

    Local news reporter didn't hold back laying into the A's owner:

      Most people I know, here in Vegas, don't want them here in knowing how much it will cost taxpayers.

        Fisher is so tone deaf, that letter to Oakland fans was a terrible look and he would have been better off vanishing into the night.

        This ordeal reminds me of when that POS Dean Spanos bailed on San Diego and took the Chargers to LA...there is still a lot of venom towards Spanos out here.

          Yeah, the ignorant ones don't want them here for that reason. Nevada provides a ton of incentives (taxpayer money) for all kinds of companies to move here. It's just the A's are a lot more visible, so people think they're the only ones that Nevada is helping.
