    RIP Mercury Morris
    Dead at 77. Halfback for Miami Dolphins in the '70's. Part of the undefeated 1972 team. 2 Super Bowl wins.

    RIP, Merc. Was on some great teams.

    Made the funny chirps whenever another NFL team got close to the 17-0. The Patriots actually eclipsed the 17-0, got to 18-0 but lost in the Super Bowl vs the Giants.

    Sad to see the old players go. But that's life.

      He was a THUG in it's community of the City of South Miami trafficked in Cocaine (Fact) and was a LOUD & Obnoxios individual.

        hawk, I understand your comment. OBNOXIOUS would certainly be an adjective that applied to Mercury.

        Wouldn't you saw that he re-habilitated at a later age? I almost thought that the "No one on our block" thing was mostly an act.
