Just based on the size of the Earth in comparison to the universe...we are a speck of sand on a vast beach.


There is also the question of Ancient civilizations and the structures they built and potentially being more advanced than we are in certain areas(astronomy and sciences for example). Did they have alien intervention to help the human race along or did they have advanced technology that has since been lost? How about cave drawings from all over the world showing depictions of visitors coming from the sky etc? It is a very interesting topic no doubt.
