Make the same absolutely Horrible/Rookie mistake like this.

Been betting football, mostly successfully, for 50 years. I had a 5 team 6 pt tease 100/450 winner. I'm going to blame it on age but after rescanning the card FOOLISHLY ruined an easy winner by MINDLESSLY deciding there was no way Cinn would lose at home to the Patsies.

Bottom line, adding a huge favorite with minimal return to your (3,4,5) team parlays/teasers is a very poor amateur play.

You shouldn't be playing any parlays or teasers at all, chalk or dogs.

Found myself caught the same way adding a third leg to get a bonus/boost offer more than once. But still do it sometimes.

So often the biggest chalk on the card is the one that loses too :\

You are a seasoned gambler. Not sure just 2, but the more teams included in the NFL the more likely you are exposed to the weirdness of todays nfl.

Dan, I had 5 winners, and added a useless (no value) pick. Been doing this to long and surviving to make these type of mistakes.

On another note, I've made note that we seem to make very curiously the same picks in several of the survivor contests. I think we both chose NO last week. LOL. BOL Bud.

I did this the other night on fd I added a -400 live on the Nationals to my 6 teamer 100 paid +1672. I risked 500. -400 added nothing to the parlay needless to say it cost me the 6 teamer they lost 9- 4 I won the other 5 games.

Not sure how long you've been gambling, but the pain for me was I knew not to do this. 50 years in you're not supposed to be making these types of mistakes, but age has certainly severely dulled the sharp bettor I once was. BOL, and try make this a learning experience.

If that was to win 450, it was a great bet and you should play lots of those every week and earn a good income from it this year.

If it was to return 450, it was bad. Four team should be +300, so it was like risking 400 to win 50 while laying 1.5 points. Could have just bet the Bengals moneyline and risk 225 to win 50.

To win 450. Please understand the vig in my day was .05 or .10. I killed the 13 pt 4 team teasers (documented in the SBR archives) when they were 110. Next year they went 120, and then 130. 130 is a fools errand on these moron's in todays NFL. They're more interested in dancing and Fantasy/ESPN than teamwork and winning.

If it’s any consolation, more than 1/2 of survivor players had Bengals. 😮
