This is so heartbreaking. And some of the worst part of this is the San Francisco DA will charge the suspect, who is 17 years old, as a juvenile rather than an adult. The guy committed a violent crime and he’s going to be treated like a kid. This is what’s wrong with San Francisco and the crime will just keeps increasing.

Wow, he was released from hospital and Niners said he’ll miss 4 games. If this happens, that’s quite impressive for quick recovery. If I got shot, I would take the remaining year off from work. 🤣

I have friends in San Ramon out there in what they call Contra Costa country, by Walnut Creek.
Sometimes I'd scoot over to Reno or Tahoe while visiting.

Used to love visiting every year, amazing green scenery and what not.
Went out to visit three years ago, totally different.

And of course, the 17-year-old won't be charged as an adult. Gotta love the way some states coddle the criminal thugs and give the finger to law-abiding taxpayers.

Ops, the media report made it confusing as implying DA decided to prosecute the criminal as a juvenile rather than an adult. However, DA has to first file charges with family court and then decide whether to charge him as an adult. I don’t think DA decided yet. It would be career suicide if she doesn’t charge him as an adult. Previous DA, Chesa Boudin, was recalled.

Walnut Creek hasn’t been besmirched by the crime wave. That area is still affluent and pretty much untouched. I haven’t been to Reno since Covid but it has been going downhill. Tahoe is still nice.

That corridor near Oakland stadium is one of the worst in the country. Even Walmart and In ‘n Out burger had to close and leave.

This is so true. That corridor is downright scary.

Ricky Pearsall continues to make progress in his rehab, and he is set to return to the practice field in short order. The first-round rookie wideout will have his 21-day return window opened next week, per Sports Illustratred’s Albert Breer.

He’s back to practice! He has 21 day practice training and hopefully he’ll be able to play. Interesting, he got shot in the chest and now back to practice but where’s CMC?
